Patients with different diseases have benefitted from huge discounts on diagnostic facilities and free doctor consultations offered on Saturday at Zainul Haque Sikder Medical College and Hospital Unit-2 at Gulshan in the capital.
The leading healthcare center provided patients with the facilities to mark World Spine Day, observed on Saturday.

The hospital offered MRI scans at only Tk 3,000 and a 40 percent discount on every diagnostic facility, including CT-Scan. The campaign ran from 9 am to 7 pm on the day.
Patients of different walks of life, especially those from the poor bracket, expressed their utmost satisfaction over the facilities Sikder Medical offered.
Md Rabbi Mollah, a patient with knee injuries who underwent MRI test, told the Bangladesh Post, “Usually MRI costs Tk 7000 to 8000 in a private hospital. I had to pay that amount earlier at different diagnostic centers. But this huge initiative by Sikder Medical has been a relief for me.”
According to hospital sources, about 70 patients consulted doctors and took treatment facilities on the day with special discounts. Of them, around 30 went for MRI tests while the rest availed themselves of CT scans and other tests.
