Global smartphone brand vivo has launched its new handset, the Y31d, in Bangladesh featuring what the company claims is its largest-ever battery in a smartphone.
According to the company, the device is equipped with a 7,200mAh BlueVolt battery designed to ensure long-lasting performance, extended gaming and uninterrupted daily use.
Smartphone users often face unexpected battery drain during activities such as gaming, video streaming or phone calls. The Y31d aims to address this issue with its high-capacity battery and BlueVolt technology, which the company says improves charge retention and power management.
With a single charge, the device can support up to 13.2 hours of continuous gaming, according to the company.
The smartphone also supports reverse charging, allowing users to power accessories such as gaming headsets or even charge another smartphone when necessary.
The Y31d is powered by the Snapdragon 6s Gen 2 processor, which is designed to deliver stable performance for tasks such as gaming, streaming and multitasking.
It features a 6.75-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate aimed at providing smoother scrolling and improved visual experience during gameplay and video viewing.
The device also includes a Game Boost Mode, which optimises system performance and works alongside a cooling system to support longer gaming sessions.
According to vivo, the Y31d has received a “50-Month Smooth Experience” certification intended to ensure consistent performance even after prolonged use.
The phone also offers enhanced visual clarity and improved audio output to support entertainment, gaming and everyday browsing.
The vivo Y31d is now available at authorised vivo outlets and brand stores across Bangladesh.
The handset is priced at Tk 24,999 for the 6GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, Tk 26,999 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB version, and Tk 31,999 for the 8GB RAM and 256GB storage model.
Sales of the smartphone began on March 5. As part of a promotional offer during the first sale window, customers will receive one year of free screen replacement, subject to terms and conditions.
The company also announced a Grameenphone internet bundle offer for buyers as part of the launch promotion.
