US-Bangla resumes flights on five domestic routes

After a hiatus of 16 days, local airlines have resumed domestic flight operations amid the lockdown from Tuesday. With that, the largest private airline of the country US-Bangla has started operating flights to five domestic destinations from Dhaka to Chattogram, Sylhet, Jashore, Saidpur, and Barishal.

The airline is initially operating daily three flights to Chattogram, two to Sylhet, Jashore and Saidpur while one to Barishal.

US-Bangla is operating the flights with seven brand new ATR 72-600s and three Dash 8-Q400s.

Flights to Chattogram depart Dhaka at 10 am, 2:15 pm and 5:20 pm, while the return flights depart Chattogram at 11:25 am, 3:40 pm and 7 pm respectively.

Flights to Sylhet depart Dhaka at 8 am, and 7 pm while the return flights take off from Sylhet at 9:20 am and 8:20 pm respectively.

Flights to Saidpur leave Dhaka at 10:15 am and 5:15 pm while the return flights depart Saidpur at 11:45 am and 7 pm respectively. Flights to Jashore depart Dhaka at 9 am and 5:30 pm while the return flights depart Jashore at 10:15 am and 7 pm respectively.

Lastly, the flight to Barishal take off from Dhaka at 9:35 am while the return flight departs Barishal at 10:45 am.

The starting return fare on Dhaka-Chattogram route is BDT 6,898 including all tax and surcharge while the starting return fare for the other routes is BDT 6698.
