The University of Scholars successfully hosted its most significant career event to date, the NextJobz Presents University of Scholars Career Fest 2026, on Saturday.
Held at the Banani Block B Park, the event transformed the venue into a vibrant hub of professional energy, joy, and aspiration, marking a major milestone in the university's history.
The festival was a collaborative victory, organized by the Scholar Career Center, Scholar Influencers Club, Scholar Business Club, and the University of Scholars Alumni Association.
Designed to bridge the gap between academia and the professional world, the event provided a dynamic platform for thousands of enthusiastic students to interact directly with industry leaders.
The fest showcased a significant presence of 30 prestigious national and international organizations. Renowned names such as Ha-Meem Group, Dabur, United Group, Tally, Go Bangla, and Steadfast, alongside various media houses and corporate brands, set up stalls to recruit fresh talent.
With over 300 job vacancies available, students were seen engaging in on-spot CV screenings and job matching sessions with immense excitement.
Beyond the festive ground of recruitment, the atmosphere was charged with learning and inspiration. A highlight of the day was an insightful panel discussion hosted at the campus of University of Scholars titled ‘Industry Insights: Real Job.
Real Business. Real Stories’, which focused on career tips and real suggestions for excellence. The session was expertly moderated by Nur a Alam Mishad (Lecturer & BBA Coordinator, Department of Business, University of Scholars).
The discussion featured a powerhouse lineup of speakers: Ahsanur Rahman, Partner Director, Google, Aleph Group Inc., Tarif Mohammed Khan, Head of Communications, Dekko ISHO Venture Capitak and National Mentor & Coach, Accelerating Bangladesh, Rizvan Hasan, Country Head, Bangladesh, Reverse Resources, and Jubaer Alnazi, Founder & CEO, Axiler Ltd. These experts shared invaluable perspectives on the evolving global job market, with a special emphasis on creating safe and empowering opportunities for female students, ensuring an inclusive environment for all future professionals.
