In a bid to raise the revenue from Twitter, the platform may charge a “slight” fee from its government and commercial users, said Elon Musk.

The move comes as part of Musk’s announcement to grow Twitter’s revenue - which is lagging in revenue making race. “Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government users," Musk tweeted, according to international media outlets. “Some revenue is better than none!” he said in another tweet. In last week, Elon Musk announced to develop fresh ways to monetise from Twitter. He also said he would slash the payments of the top executives. He also planned to generate revenue with the viral tweets.
