The Bangladesh University of Business and Technology (BUBT) campus transformed into a hub of youthful innovation yesterday as ICT Olympiad Bangladesh's Season 2 culminated in a grand finale that showcased the nation's brightest tech talents.

After months of intense competition that saw 10,000 applicants from every corner of the country, the final 290 contenders battled through a comprehensive assessment comprising written examinations, practical demonstrations, and rigorous viva voce sessions.

Professor Dr. A.B.M. Shakhawat Ali, Vice Chancellor of BUBT and chief guest of the event, emphasized the critical role of such initiatives in achieving the government's digital vision.

"What we witness here today is more than a competition – it's the birth of Bangladesh's next generation of digital architects," he stated, drawing connections between the Olympiad and national ICT development projects.

The ceremony was hosted by Dr. Trina Islam and Md. Solaiman Ahmed Jisan.

The competition's 39 winners received a comprehensive package of rewards designed to propel their tech careers forward.

Mohammad Shahriar Khan, founder of ICT Olympiad Bangladesh, reflected on the event's broader significance: "Our vision extends beyond creating a competition platform – we're building an ecosystem that nurtures technological proficiency and innovative thinking among our youth."
