Pijush Bandyopadhyay, convener of Sampritee Bangladesh, also a veteran actor and media personality, urged the people of the country to stand together firmly against the evil forces, the way we did earlier, during the liberation war and maintained harmony in the society. The unity is the crying need of the hour.
“Whoever is carrying out these incidents, are the enemy of our country. They are against our culture,” he added.
Pijush Bandyopadhyay further said, “We believe that the secular people of our country will come forward and stand beside the Hindu community to prevent this kind of incident from taking place in the future.”
“We condemn the action of those who are trying to destroy the thousand-year-old culture, spirit of the Liberation War, religious harmony and the ideals of Bangabandhu. We believe that these perpetrators are not many in number but they have been creating anarchy and rumours among the people in the society,” he said.
He also has expressed concern on behalf of the organization over the recent unpleasant incidents in different parts of the country that has triggered communal tension.
Member Secretary of the organization, Prof Dr Mamun Al Mahtab Shwapnil also condemned the recent crimes conducted against humanity.
“Some miscreants, being envious of the progress and development of Bangladesh, are carrying out such kind of immoral acts. They are trying to direct the country backwards,” he added.
