The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) examinations of 2022 will be held in June and August this year respectively.
Professor Tapan Kumar Sarker, Chairman of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board provided the information.
“The revised syllabuses of Bengali second, English first and second papers of the SSC and HSC exams for 2022 have also been rearranged after further editing, added the chairman of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board.
The National Curriculum and Textbook Board has revised the syllabus of Bengali first and second papers and English first and second papers for SSC and HSC candidates of 2022 and fixed 50 marks instead of 100 marks in these subjects.
Due to coronavirus, last year's SSC and HSC exams were held only on elective subjects. The number format was also reduced.
Earlier, Education Minister Dr Dipu Moni had said at a press conference on Thursday that this year's (2022) SSC and HSC examinations could be held between June and August.
Due to the ongoing coronavirus pandemic, SSC and HSC examinations of 2021 were held in November and December of last year respectively.
