The SSC and equivalent exams for this year begin today, Thursday.

There will be 20,24,192 students taking the exam this time.

Under the auspices of eleven boards, candidates from 29,735 educational institutions in 3,700 centers will take the SSC, Dakhil, Vocational SSC, and Vocational Dakhil exams.

Vocational examinations are administered by nine General Education Boards (SSC, Dakhil Madrasa Education Board), and two Technical Education Boards (Dakhil and SSC).

In the meantime, in order to conduct this exam in a setting free from allegations of cheating and question leaks, the Ministry of Education has mandated the closure of all coaching centers nationwide as of Tuesday for a month.

The district-level treasury and the upazila or thana-level at the SSC examination center will be in charge of keeping it safe.

Under the supervision of a police guard, the question papers will be taken from the Treasury or Police Station and brought to the center.

According to the Ministry of Education, Facebook and other social media platforms will be monitored during this period to stop rumors and leaks of SSC and equivalent exam questions.

The government's relevant departments and law enforcement agencies will keep an eye on the operations of the active gangs as part of this work. The ministry has additionally issued a warning, stating that anyone caught leaking exam questions or giving answers to candidates will face severe legal repercussions.

In order to conduct the exam without worrying about question leakage, the Ministry of Education has outlawed the use of mobile phones by the officials, educators, and workers involved in this work while they are receiving and transporting the question papers from the Treasury Police Station.

Question papers are not permitted to be transported in microbuses or cars with black glass, according to the Ministry. In addition, each center now has an Executive Magistrate and a Tag Officer assigned to it. Together with the center secretary, the tag officer will retrieve the questions from the Treasury, place them in the custody of the police station, and transport all of the sets of questions to the center while a police guard watches. A quarter of an hour prior to the exam's commencement, the question set code will be made public.

As a result, in accordance with the regulations, the center secretary, tag officer, and police officer will open the question paper packet.

The ministry further states that no candidate or teacher in charge of room inspection may use a cell phone or other electronic device in an SSC or comparable examination center. A feature phone that is not able to take pictures or browse the internet is only available to the Union Secretary.

Unauthorized users of phones or other electronic devices will face consequences in accordance with the rules.

Teachers, students, and staff are not permitted to use watches, pens, cell phones, or any other electronic device within 200 yards of the examination center without the examination center's permission during the exam. Infringers of this order will face immediate consequences.

In the meantime, the police will be beside the examinees to facilitate their journey to the 122 Dhaka metropolis centers by averting congested traffic. The DMP, or Dhaka Metropolitan Police, has suggested eighteen points to facilitate candidates' visitation of the center.

Speaking to reporters yesterday at the DMP Media Center at Minto Road in the capital, DMP Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Munibur Rahman stated that the traffic quick response team will endeavor to make it simpler for the examinees to get to the center.

Additionally, a number of mobile teams will be assigned to each center. There will be no hawking permitted on the surrounding roads. Additionally, the police have asked motorists to refrain from honking their horns excessively on the road adjacent to the testing facility.
