An agreement regarding online fee payment has been signed between Sonali Bank Limited and Chattogram District Lawyers Association with the aim of collecting chamber rent, electricity bill, annual subscription and other fees of learned lawyers online through Sonali Payment Gateway.
Sonali Bank's Deputy Managing Director Subhash Chandra Das, Deputy General Manager Md. Atiqur Rahman, Assistant General Manager Manik Chandra Das and other officials of the bank handed over the signed agreement in the meeting room at the regional head office of Agrabad Sonali Bank in Chattogram on Monday.
AHM Ziauddin, General Secretary of the association, signed the contract on behalf of the association. President of the association Bir Freedom Fighter Abu Mohammad Hashem, Senior Vice President Mohammad Shafiq Ullah, Joint General Secretary Mohammad Ershadur Rahman (Retu), Finance Secretary M Salahuddin Mansur Chowdhury (Remu), Culture and Sports Secretary Laila Noor, Information and Technology Secretary Md Mezbah Uddin were present at the signing ceremony.
As a result of this agreement, the wise members of the association will be able to pay their chamber rent, electricity bill, annual subscription and other fees and charges easily online through Sonali Payment Gateway from any place.
Apart from this, wise members can pay online as well as in the bank as per earlier rules. In the event, a discussion was held with the bank authorities regarding providing various opportunities to the learned members of the association. The president and general secretary of the association thanked the board of directors of Sonali Bank.
