A memorandum of understanding (MoU) has been signed between Sikder Group of Bangladesh and the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi of Dubai to embark on new businesses.
Ron Haque Sikder, the Managing Director of Sikder Group, and H.E. Thomasz Zaleski, the Chairman of the Private Office of Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi, signed the deal at the Bangladesh Economic Forum 2022 held at the Ballroom of MovenPick Grand Al Bustan Dubai hotel in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) on Thursday.
Salman F Rahman MP, Advisor to Honourable Prime Minister for Private Industries and Investment, was present at the signing ceremony, according to a message received in Dhaka on Thursday.
Under the MoU, the Private Office of H.H. Sheikh Ahmed Bin Faisal Al Qassimi will import shrimps and other commodities from Bangladesh for the UAE and European countries.
The two business entities have also decided to work together for mega projects within UAE.
