Rupali Bank PLC Training Academy (RBTA) organized a seminar titled “Offshore Banking : Concept, Procedure, Regulations and Prospect” On Tuesday at its Motijheel premises.
Chairman of the Bank Kazi Sanaul Haque was present as the chief guest in the seminar when Bank Director Mohammad Delwar Hossain was present as a special guest.
Managing Director and CEO of the bank Mohammad Jahangir presided over the event.
Sheikh Mohammad Maruf, Additional Managing Director and Head of Business of The City Bank PLC, presented the main article in the seminar.
Deputy Managing Director Tahmina Akhtar, Kazi Abdur Rahman and Hasan Tanveer along with all General Managers and Heads of AD Branches participated in the seminar.
The program was conducted by the General Manager and Principal of the Training Academy Mohammad Shafayet Hossain.
Various aspects of offshore banking were discussed in the discussion and hoped that Rupali Bank would take the necessary steps to set up an offshore banking unit.
