The Real Estate and Housing Association of Bangladesh (REHAB) said that Tk 108 crore of flats and plots have been booked in the four-day housing fair organized in Chattogram.
Rehab Chattogram Regional Committee Chairman Abdul Kauiam Chowdhury revealed this data in a press conference after the housing fair on Sunday evening.
He told reporters that a lot of buyers and visitors have come to the fair in the last few days. Although many buyers made bookings in the last three days, today the last day of the fair saw the highest number of flats and plots sold and booked.
About 10 thousand 500 buyers visited the fair in these 4 days. The Russia-Ukraine war is causing a global economic recession. As a result, the plot flats were not sold as expected.
The target for selling flats, commercial spaces and plots in this year's fair was Tk 150 crore. The sale and booking of flats, commercial spaces and plots at the fair was Tk 108 crore. All in all, the housing fair was a success. He said that all the offers that the companies participating in the fair have brought for the buyers can take advantage of the opportunity by going to the company's own office for the next 7 days.
Rehab Co-Chairman of Fair Organizing Committee Mahbub Sobhan Jalal Tanveer, Third Vice President Sharif Ali Khan, Co-Chairman of Rehab Chattogram Fair Engineer Didarul Haque Chowdhury were present at the press briefing among others.
Its mentioned that on February 23, a four-day housing fair began at Radisson Blu in the city. The theme of this year's fair is ‘Swapnil Abashan Sabuj Desh, Lal Sabujer Bangladesh’. 48 companies participated in this year's fair. Among them, there were 2 organizations as gold sponsors.
