Production at Bashundhara gold refinery will start in March

BAJUS president discloses in Ctg

Sayem Sobhan Anvir, President of Bangladesh Jewelers Association-Bajus and managing director of Bashundhara Group, said that if everything goes well, production will start at Bashundhara Gold Refinery in March next year.

 Sayem Sobhan Anvir, BAJUS President and Managing Director of Bashundhara Group, the country's top industrial entrepreneur family, said this while addressing the Chief Guest at the Bangladesh Jewellers Association (BAJUS) Chattogram Divisional Representative Conference at Radisson Blue Auditorium in Chattogram five-star hotel on Monday night.  

  He said that the government is ready to provide all facilities for gold production in the country.  All the jewellers of the country should be united to achieve something big in the jewellery industry.

 Sayem Sobhan is the Managing Director of Bashundhara Gold Refinery Limited.  Bashundhara Group Director Ahmed Walid Sobhan was also present at the event.

 Special guest Chattogram Stock Exchange (CSE) Chairman Asif Ibrahim said, '25 percent shares of Chattogram Stock Exchange have been bought by Bashundhara Group's ABG Limited.  This event is a milestone for Chittagong Stock Exchange.  The country's first commodity exchange transaction will start with gold first.  

 CSE director Major (retd) Emdadul Islam said, "Unrefined gold will be brought from outside and refined in Bangladesh."  

And new industries will be developed with the by products from that refining.  It is an incredibly bold initiative by Bashundhara Group.  Surely the name of Bashundhara group will be written in history for this initiative.

BAJUS former president Dr. Dilip Kumar Roy said, ‘BAJUS President Sayem Sobhan Anvir will return the lost glory of gold industry by holding the hands.  4-5 gold jewellery factories are on the way to start up in Dhaka. 

BAJUS vice-president Dr. Aminul Islam Shaheen and BAJUS vice-president Badal Chandra Roy answered the questions of district upazila leaders on the occasion.

 BAJUS Chattogram General Secretary Pranab Kumar Saha gave a speech of thanks.  Mrinal Kanti Dhar gave the closing speech.  Noakhali BAJUS President Abul Hossain, Rangamati BAJUS President Mridul Dutta, Lakshmipur president Harihar Paul gave greetings.
