PRAN-RFL Group, one of the business conglomerates of Bangladesh, has continued its food support to the helpless and poor people, who have become affected by the lockdown due to coronavirus outbreak. In the second phase, the group is providing dried food items among 40 thousand families of more than 20 districts of the country including the capital.
The food items include flattened rice, puffed rice, noodles, cake, biscuit, toast, milk and juice. Local public representatives and administration are helping to distribute the products.
The group has so far distributed food at various points of Dhaka city and Chattogram, Feni, Rangpur and Natore in the second phase and will provide the food items among the poor people in Manikganj, Narsingdi, Gazipur, Kishoreganj, Sylhet, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Bogura, Barisal and some other districts within next week.
Kamruzzaman Kamal, Marketing Director at PRAN-RFL Group, said “At this moment, many people are suffering especially poor people as they are workless. We are distributing food items among them in various parts of the country.”
At the beginning of the month, in the first phase, PRAN-RFL Group distributed food among several thousand families in various points of Dhaka city and Gazipur, Narsingdi, Habiganj, Rajshahi, Natore, Dinajpur and Rangpur. The food items were rice, dal, salt, biscuit and noodles.
