The Project Management Institute (PMI) Bangladesh Chapter successfully hosted the Bangladesh Project Management Symposium and Awards 2025, the nation’s premier event celebrating excellence in project leadership and execution.
Held under the theme “Agility, Innovation, Transformation: Shaping the Future of Project Management,” the symposium brought together over 400 professionals from government, corporate, academia, and development sectors.
The event began with a Welcome Address by A T M Iqbal Chowdhury, PMP, President of PMI Bangladesh Chapter, followed by an Inaugural Address by Romo Rouf Chowdhury, Group Managing Director of RANCON Holdings Ltd. and Chairman of Bank Asia PLC.
The main attraction of the event was the Bangladesh Project Management Awards 2025, inaugurated by T. I. M. Nurul Kabir, Executive Director of FICCI.
The ceremony honored outstanding achievements in project management across both the public and private sectors.
Among the award recipients were Prime Bank, BSRM Group of Companies, Edison Real Estate Limited, BRAC IT Services Limited, and Bank Asia PLC & others.
The Symposium and Awards ceremony serve as a dynamic platform to showcase innovation, discuss the integration of AI, sustainability, and digital transformation in project practices, and foster collaboration among local and global project communities.
