A regular flight of Biman Bangladesh Airlines carrying Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and her entourage members departed from Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport at 9:45am on Sunday.
The passengers on the flight were surprised and delighted when they saw Sheikh Hasina herself was visiting them, coming to their seats one after another and exchanging pleasantries with all on board on the way from Dhaka to London. She inquired about the passengers well-being in the fully packed commercial flight of the national flag carrier.
The flight is scheduled to land at the JKF International Airport, New York at 8:50pm (Bangladesh time) today after a four-hour stopover at the Heathrow Airport in London.
