Penny for Many, a non-profit organization, has taken a significant initiative to support vulnerable communities affected by the winter season in Rajbari, Pangsha, and Langolbad. Recently, the organization distributed 350 winter blankets among destitute children, women, and elderly individuals in these areas.

Zisan Rehman, Founder and President of Penny for Many, stated, “Every year, with the support of our regular well-wishers, we distribute blankets and warm clothing during the winter season. This year, Bangladesh Federation of Women Entrepreneurs (BFWE) collaborated with us to extend support to vulnerable women, children, and senior citizens in rural communities. I urge everyone to support people in need according to their capacity.”

Abdullah Al Fajsal, General Secretary of Penny for Many, added, “Traditionally, winter relief activities are concentrated in the northern regions of Bangladesh, where the cold is more severe. However, communities in other regions also suffer due to a lack of winter clothing. This year, we decided to extend our support to the southern areas to ensure that no one is left behind.”

Since its establishment in 2019, Penny for Many has been working to reduce the hardships of destitute individuals to empower marginalized communities. The organization remains committed and optimistic about continuing its social welfare initiatives in the future.
