Member (Engineering) of CPA Commodore Mohammad Mahbubur Rahman, Member (Finance) Mohammad Shahidul Alam (Additional Secretary), Member (Harbor and Marine) Commodore M Fazlar Rahman, Director (Administration) Md. Mominur Rashid (Deputy Secretary), Secretary Md. Omar Faruq along with senior officials of CPA were also present on the occasion.
Also, President and General Secretary of Chattogram Port Employees' Parishad paid their respects to the Father of the Nation by laying wreaths at Bangabandhu's tomb in Tungipara of Gopalganj.
They also offered special prayers for all the martyrs of Bangabandhu's family, including Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, who were martyred on August 15.
