The Strategic Business Conference- 2020 of Mercantile Bank Limited held at Radisson Blu Dhaka Water Garden on Saturday. The Head of 148 branches, Zonal Heads and Head of Divisions participated in the conference. Morshed Alam, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the bank was the chief guest while Managing Director and CEO Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury presided over the conference.
Vice Chairman Al-Haj Akram Hossain (Humayun), Chairman of the Executive Committee Md. Anwarul Haque, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Foundation M. Amanullah, Chairman of Mercantile Bank Securities Ltd Md. Nasiruddin Choudhury, A. S. M. Feroz Alam, M A Khan Belal and Dr. Md. Hamid Ullah Bhuiya, Directors of the bank were present in the conference as special guests. Bank’s Chairman thanked the heads of branches and divisions for their success at achieving organizational goals and superior customer services. He also delivered a strategic work plan to reach the Bank’s expected business target for the current year with effective and efficient management.
Md. Quamrul Islam Chowdhury, MD and CEO of Mercantile Bank Ltd. advised the Executives & Officers to ensure best possible customer services with latest technology based banking.
He also urged his colleagues to reach the Mercantile Bank services to the unbanked and underprivileged population to make Mercantile Bank as an “Enlightened Bank”. Besides this, The CEO suggested his teammates to reach Mercantile Bank’s ‘Agent Banking’ and ‘Islamic Banking Window’ services to the customers. Mati Ul Hasan, AMD, Gaus-Ul-Wara Md. Mortaza, Md. Zakir Hossain, Adil Raihan, Shamim Ahmed and Dr. Md. Nurul Islam, DMDs were also present with other senior executives and officers of the Bank.
