Medical camp provides free service to factory workers

A day-long free medical camp has been inaugurated at Tarash upazila of Sirajganj to mark the birth centenary of Father of the Natiion Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman.

The free medical camp was inaugurated by Sirajganj Factory and Establishment Inspection Department at the Upazila Parishad auditorium on Tuesday morning in collaboration with the Upazila administration. 

Tarash Upazila Nirbahi Officer (UNO) Md Mejbaul Karim inaugurated the camp as the chief guest. Sirajganj Factory and Establishment Inspection Department Deputy Inspector General Rajib Chandra Ghosh, Tarash Upazila Parishad Vice Chairman Md Anwar Hossain Khan, Women Vice Chairman Morzina Islam, Assistant Commissioner (Land) Laila Jannatul Ferdous, Tarash Police Station (OC) Md Fazle Ashiq, Freedom Fighter SM Abdur Razzak, Babul Sheikh and others were present at the time among others.

During the camp, Dr Rajib Chandra Das gave medical services to the patients working in the factories and various organisations in the area who came for the free medical treatment. According to the diagnosis, the doctor also provided free medicine to the patients.
