Principal Secretary to Prime Minister Dr. Ahmad Kaikaus has laid due emphasis on progressive and available energy concept for achieving sustainable energy efficiency.
He was addressing an international webinar on Sustainable Energy Efficiency titled “21st Century Economy, Climate, Energy and Social Transformations: Bangladesh Perspective” organized by Dhaka Branch Council (DBC) of The Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Monday.
Bangabandhu Chair Professor Dr. Joyashree Roy, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Thailand presented Keynote paper on the occasion.
He highlighting various factors which are critical for sustainable energy efficiency of Bangladesh.
President of South Asian Federation of Accountants (SAFA) AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA, and President of ICMAB Abu Bakar Siddique FCMA were present as special guest and guest of honor.
They mentioned the role of CMAs to ensure cost and management efficiency of energy and power sector of Bangladesh.
Bakhtiar Alam FCMA, Chairman of DBC, Mohammad Nazrul Isalm FCMA, Secretary of DBC, and Mannan Bapari FCMA, Treasurer of DBC were also present in the program. More than 200 Fellow and Associate members of ICMAB across the world joined the program. The Webinar was moderated by Dr. Syed Abdulla Al Mamun FCMA, Vice Chairman of DBC.
