Jubo League leaders pay tribute to Bangabandhu

The newly elected Jubo League committee paid tribute to Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman by placing a floral wreath to his portrait, reports BSS.
New Jubo League Chairman Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and General Secretary Mainul Hossen Khan Nikhil placed the floral wreath at the portrait of Bangabandhu in front of Dhanmondi Road-32 in the city on Sunday morning, reports BSS.
Former Jubo League General Secretary Harunur Rashid was present on the occasion.
After paying respect to Bangabandhu, the Jubo League Chairman said the new committee will “work for reviving the lost image of the Jubo League.” He added: “We want to work with utmost sincerity for the development of the youth community.”
Later, the new chairman and general secretary went to the Banani graveyard to pay their respect to the martyrs of August 15, 1975.
Sheikh Fazle Shams Parash and Dhaka north Jubo League president Mainul Hossen Nikhil were elected Jubo League Chairman and General Secretary respectively in the 7th National Congress of the youth front of the ruling Awami League.
