The parliamentary standing committee on Women and Children Affairs Ministry recommended establishment of complaint boxesin each educational institution ofthe country.
In the second meeting of the parliamentary standing committee presided by its chairman Begum Meher Afroz, MP, the committee recommended establishing complaint box for students and employees in every education insti-tution and suggested taking proac-tive action to stop violence against woman, said an official press release, reports BSS.Besides, an elaborate discussion about ‘Kishor Kishori Club Project’, DNA Lab and Bangladesh Shishu Academy Ain was held. Two fivemember sub-committees wereformed in the meeting, for imple-menting the projects.Md. Abdl Aziz, MP was madeconvener of the sub-committee forDNA Lab and Bangladesh ShishuAcademy Ain. Other members ofthe committee are: A M NaimurRahman, MP, Begum Shabnam Jahan, MP, Begum Lutfun NesaKhan, MP, and Syed RashidaBegum, MP.
The committee made A MNaimur Rahman, MP the convenerof the ‘Kishor Kishori Club project’ sub-committee. The other membersare: Md. Abdul Aziz, MP, BegumShabnam Jahan, MP, Begum LutfunNesa Khan, MP, and Syed RashidaBegum, MP. The standing committee alsorecommended finishing construc-tion of the ‘Jayita Tower’ as soon aspossible. Respective officials andemployees were also present at themeeting.
