There have huge scope of further expansion of Bangladesh Jewelry industry, not only for local market we have enough scope to export abroad as well, said Prime Minister's private sector and industry advisor Salman F Rahman on Friday.
The Advisor was addressing the inaugural ceremony of a new outlet of 'Diamond World' a leading jewelry brand of Bangladesh named "The Signature" at Gulshan in the capital. Congratulating Diamond World for opening this world class standard show room, Salman suggested its authority to take initiative to export Jewelry items abroad.
Managing Director of Diamond World, Dilip Kumar Agarwala, former FBCCI President Jashim Uddin, Chairman of Square Group, Swapan Chowdhury, renowned businessman Abdul Awal Mintu, Chairman of Diamond World Sbita Agarwala and local elites were present on the occasion among others. While addressing, Dilip Kumar Agarwala said they have set up 32 outlets in the country within short span of time which was possible because of the trust of valued customers.
He hoped that the Jewelry industry of Bangladesh in near future will be able to keep significant contribution to the country's GDP.
