Janata Exchange Company, SRL, a subsidiary company of the country’s leading state owned commercial bank, Janata Bank Limited, is planning to open agency operations with the central bank of Italy.
A four member delegation of Janata Bank, led by its CEO and Managing Director, Abdus Salam Azad FF held a meeting with a five member team of the Italy’s central bank at the head office of Italy’s central bank in Rome.
The meeting discussed elaborately about opening of agency operation between the two financial institutions.
Representatives of the Central Bank of Italy expressed their satisfaction about the papers submitted by the Janata Exchange Company to get approval for opening the agency operations.
They suggested to attach some data-information of the beneficiaries in the customers database of Janata Exchange Company SRL.
The CEO and Managing Director, of Janata Bank, Abdus Salam Azad attended the meeting as the Chairman of Janata Exchange Company SRL Board while Director of JEC, Geovanni Embargemo, Commercialist Stephano Sirucchi and Money Laundering Affairs Officer Dot Stella Libretto attended the meeting among others.
