Recently, Janata Bank PLC and Bangladesh Bank have signed a participation agreement under credit guarantee facility.
Under this agreement, credit guarantee facilities can be provided in respect of loans payable for refinancing schemes for women entrepreneurs and agricultural products processing schemes.
DMD of Janata Bank Golam Mortuza and Bangladesh Bank CGD Director Nahid Rahman signed the agreement on behalf of their respective institutions in presence of Deputy Governor of Bangladesh Bank Nurun Nahar in a ceremony held at Bangladesh Bank head office.
