UNB, Chapainawabganj: Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami central leader and Dhaka south Ameer Md Nurul Islam Bulbul collected his nomination paper for Chapainawabganj-3 (Sadar) constituency on Wednesday.
He collected the paper from the office of the district returning officer at noon.
While talking to reporters after collecting the nomination paper, the candidate urged ensuring the security of all candidates, party workers, and voters in the upcoming national elections.
He also called for a free, fair, and credible election with a level playing field.
Central council members, including former Chapainawabganj municipality mayor Md Nazrul Islam, central organising secretary Prof. Rafiqul Islam and former MP Prof Latifur Rahman, were present.
