International Leasing pays depositors Tk 4.5 cr interest

International Leasing and Financial Services Limited has paid two months of interest on the accumulated monthly interest based deposits (MIR) of the last few months. As a result, customers of the company are happy.

According to the information given by the company, in the month of October, a total of 1025 customers were paid a total of around Tk 4 crore in interest for two months.

The company's officials also stated that the company has been gradually reducing its interest in recent months.

 One of the most successful non-banking financial institutions in the country is International Leasing and Financial Services Limited. The organization is on the road to recovery and restructuring after financial losses during the period 2015–2019.

Additionally, International Leasing offers two months' worth of Monthly Income Scheme (MIR) interest payments.

Md. Mashiur Rahman, the managing director of the company, said, "This is one of the initiatives that have been taken to bring back the previous reputation of this organization."

The Chairman of the organization, former secretary with the Bangladesh government Md Nazrul Islam Khan is trying to transition the Board of Directors and the staff of the organization from June 1, 2020 after being appointed by the High Court. 

This once highly successful company is struggling to survive today. At present, the current management authority is working with the help of the court-appointed board to speed up the recovery process and mobility of the institution.
