Institute of Chartered Secretaries of Bangladesh (ICSB) observed the 54th Independence Day of Bangladesh with due solemnity and significance.
The Dhaka Regional Chapter (DRC) Sub Committee of ICSB organized the programme. The day began with the hoisting of the national flag in the morning. A special discussion session was held on Independence Day.
Mohammad Asad Ullah FCS, President of ICSB showed profound respect and discussed about the sacrifice of the martyrs of the Great War of Liberation in 1971.
He also mentioned that, with the contribution of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, the architect of Bangladesh and the Father of the Nation, Bangladesh has found a place on the map of the world.
Mohammad Abdullah Al Mamun FCS, Treasurer of ICSB and Chairman of DRC welcomed all the members for attending on the special day. He presented an audiovisual (AV) on the significance of our Independence.
M Nurul Alam FCS, Senior Vice President, AKM Mushfiqur Rahman FCS, Vice President, Oli Kamal FCS, Council Member were present on the occasion among others.
