Leaders of the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Bangladesh (ICMAB) on Tuesday sought necessary cooperation of the Ministry of Commerce for further development of the Institute.
The ICMAB leaders sought the cooperation in a view exchange meeting with the Senior Secretary, Ministry of Commerce, Tapan Kanti Ghosh, as the ICMAB delegation called him on at his office at Bangladesh Secretariat.
The delegation was headed by ICMAB President Md. Mamunur Rashid FCMA while other senior leaders were also present on the occasion. ICMAB President briefed the Secretary about the overall affairs of the Institute and particularly about the development issues of CMA profession.
He also sought help of the Sr. Secretary for further development of ICMAB. The Sr. Secretary congratulated the newly elected office bearers of the Institute and assured him to provide all out support and assistance to ICMAB.
Among others Treasurer Md. Ali Haider Chowdhury FCMA, Past President AKM Delwer Hussain FCMA and Executive Director Muhammad Abdullah were present in the meeting.
