It is our immense pleasure to inform you that the Dhaka Regional Committee (DRC) of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) held its meeting on Saturday, where Mahmudur Rahman FCA was elected as Chairman, and Md. Akizur Rahman FCA as Secretary of DRC-ICAB, effective from 24 June 2025.
Mahmudur Rahman FCA is the immediate past Secretary and currently serving in the position of Director (Assurance & Advisory) at ACNABIN, Chartered Accountants. Mr. Rahman qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and in this route, he was an articled student of ACNABIN Chartered Accountants.
Currently, he is a member of DRC-ICAB and a member of a few other Committees.
Md. Akizur Rahman, FCA is a Fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB).
He obtained his Master’s in Accounting from Jagannath University in 2006. He qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2012 and completed his articleship with S. F. Ahmed & Co., Chartered Accountants.
He has professional experience of 20+ years with local and International organisations, including working in an overseas environment.
