Honda Futsal League Season 2 concludes with spirited competition

One of the country’s most popular corporate football events, the Honda Futsal League – Season 2, organised by Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, was held successfully on January 24, 2026, at the BSC Futsal Ground in Bashundhara Sports City.

The day-long tournament featured 32 teams representing authorised Honda dealers from across the country, turning the venue into a vibrant showcase of competitive futsal and sportsmanship.

The Honda Futsal League is part of a long-term initiative by Bangladesh Honda Private Limited aimed at promoting football culture and encouraging youth engagement in sports. Company officials said the tournament is designed not as a one-off event, but as a sustained effort to nurture young talent and familiarise players with international-standard football.

This season’s championship title was clinched by Sardar Kings Eleven, representing Sardar Honda Center of Naogaon. The winning team received the trophy from senior officials of Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, alongside Jamal Bhuyan, captain of the Bangladesh national football team, whose presence added prestige to the occasion.

The event was attended by Susumu Morisawa, managing director and CEO of Bangladesh Honda Private Limited, and Shah Muhammad Ashequr Rahman, chief marketing officer, as well as members of the Honda dealer network, journalists, football enthusiasts and Honda supporters.

Speaking on behalf of the company, officials said the initiative reflects Honda’s belief that consistent sporting activities can inspire the next generation and contribute to raising the standard of football at both national and international levels.

Bangladesh Honda Private Limited also reaffirmed its commitment to youth development and sports promotion alongside its core focus on delivering quality motorcycles and services in the Bangladeshi market.
