State Minister for Civil Aviation and Tourism Md Mahbub Ali said it is perfect time to highlight domestic tourist attractions to the world. He said, “The diversity of our tourist reserves along with natural beauty, glorious history and rich heritage must be highlighted through proper campaign to all tourists, both domestic and international.”
He came up with the observation while inaugurating a new issue of a travel magazine ‘Beautiful Bangladesh’ published by tourism ministry at his secretariat office in the capital on Wednesday. The minister said, "We have the potential for tourism industry. Tourism master plan preparation work is under progress. We will turn the prospect into success under the supervision of our Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. Through this integrated and planned tourism development will be ensured”.
He said that work is underway to make every tourist attraction of the country tourist friendly. Favorable environment will be ensured for all aged people. “To highlight the tourism attraction to the tourists, like foreign countries double decker tourist bus will be introduced. Special tours of Dhaka and its surrounding tourist destinations will be conducted soon with four such buses”.
