The government has imposed ban on passenger transport from a good number of European destinations except the UK, and 12 other countries as the new variant of Covid-19 outbreaks.
The Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) has banned entry to Bangladesh from 36 countries. The ban was announced in a notification signed by Chowdhury M Ziaul Kabir, a member of CAAB Flight Standards and Regulation Division, on Thursday.
The ban has been imposed on 25 European countries and from Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Turkey, South Africa, Uruguay, Peru, Bahrain, Jordan, Lebanon, Kuwait and Qatar. The restriction will be effective from 12:01 pm on April 3 to April 18.
The 12 countries include Bahrain, Brazil, Chile, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon, Peru, Qatar, South Africa, Turkey and Uruguay.
On the other hand, non restricted countries passengers must have a Coronavirus negative certificate, in that case they will have to go through four days institutional quarantine. If anyone found with coronavirus suspicious symptoms, he/she have to stay in quarantine for 14-day at the place designated by the government at their own expense.
