Speakers at a seminar on Sunday observed that the government has brought huge changes and reforms in terms of infrastructures, communications, ease of doing business, digitization etc. mainly aiming to further boost economic growth and turning the country as Smart Bangladesh.
The seminar titled “Income Tax Act and Finance Act 2023” was held at the World Trade Center on Sunday, organized by SMAC Advisory Services Limited in association with Chittagong Chamber of Commerce and Industries (CCCI) Newly elected Chamber President Omar Hazzaz, SMAC Advisory Services Limited Managing Director and Event Speaker Snehashish Barua FCA, SMC HRS Limited Chief Executive Officer Ehsanul Haque Bashar and Chamber Director Md Ahid Siraj Chowdhury (Swapan) spoke on the occasion. Newly elected director of the chamber Omar Muktadir was also present.
Omar Hazzaz said the government has formulated a law to solve the tax related complication after 101 years, which will certainly contribute to foster revenue growth.

A documentary was played on “Income Tax Act and Finance Act 2023” during the seminar showing some practicalities, complexities and their solutions. SMC HRS Limited Chief Executive Officer Ehsanul Haque Bashar gave a basic idea about SMC Advisory Services while Chamber Director Md. Ahid Siraj Chowdhury (Swapan) offered vote of thanks.
