Md. Mahbubul Alam, Adviser to First Security Islami Bank Ltd. and immediate past Managing Director and CEO of Islami Bank Bangladesh Limited has recently obtained 'Professional Doctoral Certificate' in Banking conferred by European International University, Paris.
Renowned banker Mahbub obtained Masters Degree with Honors in Marketing from University of Dhaka back in 1982. He is a Fellow Member of the American Marketing Association (AMA).
During his 37 years long career in banking, he obtained FIT Graduation from International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), Paris.
He has been nominated as member of ICC Standing Committee for Banking Technique & Practice, Bangladesh Chapter.
He served Bangladesh Foreign Exchange Dealers Association as Member, Executive Committee and Treasurer for a long time. He served Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM), a professional institute for bankers as executive committee member.
