Foreign Minister Dr. AK Abdul Momen on Monday expressed his deep condolence over the loss of lives at the tragic disappearance of an Indonesian submarine.
The Indonesian military chief announced Sunday that the wreckage of the navy submarine missing since Wednesday was found and declared all 53 of its crew members dead.
The foreign ministry said Dr. Momen sent a condolence message to his Indonesian counterpart Retno L P Marsudi.
He conveyed heartfelt sympathies to the Indonesian government and the brotherly people of Indonesia.
He expressed his deep sympathy to the members of the bereaved families.
He expressed the hope that the grief struck relatives of the fallen crew members of the submarine would have the strength to bear with the tragedy.
He prayed for eternal peace of the departed souls.
Dr. Momen wished the Foreign Minister happiness, good health and long life. He expected continued peace and prosperity of brotherly people of Indonesia.
