The Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industries (FBCCI) urged the market committees to cooperate to identify the corrupt traders and called the businessmen of the whole country to unite against the dishonest businessmen.

In his speech, Amin Helali said businessmen want to do business within the rules.

Due to some corrupt traders the whole business community is in question, he added.

He urged the businessmen of the whole country to unite against the dishonest businessmen.

He said not only during the month of Ramadan, the market monitoring activities of FBCCI will continue throughout the year.

Abdul Jabbar Mandal, assistant director of the Directorate of National Consumer Rights Protection (DNCRP), laid emphasis on maintaining cash memo system to avoid any kind of forgery.

"If the cash memo system is introduced, the abnormal increase in the prices of daily necessities will reduce to a large extent," he added.
