General Manager of Rupali Bank PLC Md. Fayaz Alam has recently been promoted to deputy managing director of the state-owned bank.
The Financial Institutions Department of the Ministry of Finance recently issued a notification in this regard, reads a press release.
Before being promoted as DMD, he successfully served as General Manager at Rupali Bank PLC.
Md. Fayaz Alam joined Rupali Bank as senior officer in 1998. During his career, he served as the branch manager of various important branches, the head of various important departments of the zonal office and the head office.
Due to professional needs, he has participated in training and seminars on banking at home and abroad, including traveling to different countries in the United States, United Kingdom, Europe and the Arab region.
Fayaz Alam was born in 1968, in Yogirangua village of Atpara upazila of Netrakona.
After passing MA with BA Honours from Bengali Department of Dhaka University, this famous banker also obtained MPhil degree.
