The 52ndAnnual General Meeting of Eastern Lubricants Blenders Ltd. washeldvirtually through Digital Platform on Sunday.
Secretary to Government of the BPC and ELBL Board Chairman Md. Abu Bakr Siddique presided over the Meeting.
Directors of the Board Md. Shamsuddoha, Syed Mehdi Hasan, Md. LalHossain, Independent Director Advocate Munshi Golam Mostofa andMd. QuamrulHasan, Shareholder Director KaziNazimul Islam, Managing Director, Engr. Md. AkterulHoque, Company Secretary Ali Absar, CFO, Md. RezaulKarimSiddique and BPC and Company's high officials were present at the Meeting.
Chairman welcomed the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting started with the Chairman’s inviting comments on proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting followed by comments on the Directors’ Report and audited Financial Statements for the year that ended on 30 June 2020.
Shareholders approved the 30% cash dividend for the year 2019-20. Shareholders appreciated the company’s overall performance during the meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
