From snacks to desserts, they can be twisted in very course to create flavourful delicacies. From proteins to fats to vitamins, eggs have them all. According to food experts, there are two types of edible eggs that include bird eggs and fish eggs. Have a look at these 6 varieties that you can eat.

Chicken Eggs

Chicken egg is the most common type of eggs that is avaioable in two colours- brown and white. They both are rich in proteins, calcium, and zinc and are mild in taste. In India, both the variations are widly used for making omelette, scrammbled eggs, egg curry and salad.

Duck Eggs

They are rich in fats and protein and have slightly larger yolk than the chicken eggs. It is suggested to consume them in breakfast, as they are filled with vitamin B complex compounds that keep you energized throughout the day.

Turkey Eggs

They are very similar to duck eggs in size, but have a creamier taste due to thick yolk and egg-white. They are rich in calcium and are good for growing kids.

Goose Eggs

They are double the size of chicken eggs and have enriched taste and have a greater content of proteins. It has been proven that a goose egg has 19.97 g. of protein and a chicken egg has 6.23 grams.
