Eastern Lubricants declares 40 percent cash dividend

The board of directors of listed energy sector company Eastern Lubricants Blenders Ltd has recently recommended 40 percent cash and 10 percent bonus dividend to shareholders for the financial year 2021-22 ended June 30.

 The recommendation was made along with the approval of the audited financial report for the last financial year from the board meeting of the company held on Monday.

 According to the report, Eastern Lubricants Blenders' earnings per share (EPS) for the financial year 2021-22 stood at 9 taka 50 paisa.  52 taka 18 paisa in the previous financial year.  At the end of June 30 this year, the company's net asset value per share (NAVPS) stood at 187 taka 52 paisa.  227 taka 63 paisa at the end of the previous accounting year.

  The company has convened the Annual General Meeting (AGM) through virtual medium on February 4 next year and the record date has been fixed on December 11 this year to seek shareholders' approval on the declared dividend and other agenda for the financial year under discussion.
