The 53rd Annual General Meeting of Eastern Lubricants Blenders Ltd. Was held virtually on Saturday.
BPC and ELBL Board Chairman, also Secretary to Government of the government ABM Azad ndc presided over the Meeting while Directors of the Board Khalid Ahmed, Md. Lal Hossain, Independent Directors Advocate Munshi Golam Mostofa and Md. Quamrul Hasan, Shareholder Director Kazi Nazimul Islam, Managing Director Engr. Md. Rashed Kawsar , Company Secretary Ali Absar, CFO Md. Rezaul Karim Siddique as well as BPC and Company's high officials were present.
After recitation of verses from the Holy Quran, the Chairman welcomed the shareholders in the Annual General Meeting. The meeting started with the Chairman’s inviting comments on proceedings of the last Annual General Meeting followed by comments on the Directors’ Report and audited Financial Statements for the year that ended on 30 June 2021.
After approval of audited financial statements for the year ended 30 June 2021, the Shareholders approved the 140% cash dividend and 20% stock dividend, in total 160% dividend per share for the year 2020-21.
Shareholders appreciated the company’s overall performance during the meeting. The meeting ended with a vote of thanks to the chair.
