Dhaka Power Distribution Company Limited (DPDC) will sign an agreement with Joint Venture (JV) firm-Hifab Oy (Finland) and ECBL for consultancy services of a project ‘Expansion and Strengthening of Power System Network’ on Wednesday, reports BSS. The contract signing ceremony of the project will be held at 10am at Mukti Hall, Bidyut Bhaban on Tuesday. Project Director of Expansion and Strengthening of Power System Network Md Ekramul Haque said DPDC and JV of Hifab Oy (Finland) and local partner ECBL will prepare design of the project and supervise it, reports BSS. Apart from this, a Chinese contractor -PBEA- will implement Expansion and Strengthening of Power System Network under the DPDC area. State Minister for Power Energy and Mineral Resources Nasrul Hamid will witness the signing ceremony as the chief guest on the occasion.
