What’s more enjoyable than sharing delectable desserts with your near and dear ones in a Friday evening! The Roasted Beans, the newest sensation for dessert and coffee lovers, is all decked up to satiate the sweet tooth of Dhakaites. Located at Baridhara, this quaint café looks elegant for its plush and comfy décor, the pleasant atmosphere, and some delightful desserts.

When I went on to taste the delectable desserts at The Roasted Beans I was really floored. The atmosphere is relaxing and the interiors are tastefully designed. The seating is comfortable and the music is good as well. The desserts are light with bold flavours, means one could literally eat everything on the dessert menu comfortably.

Chocolate Tiramisu (BDT 250) is a twist of our beloved Italian dessert that adds several layers of chocolate tiramisu, cream cheese and vanilla extract for a deep, rich taste. Tiramisu, with their beautiful layers of house made ladyfingers infused in freshly ground coffee served in glass cup and topped with a scattering of chocolate shavings is pretty classy, flavorful and well appreciated.

The dreamy gourmet Chocolate Lava Cake (BDT 280) is rich and decadent, filled with a gooey molten chocolate centre served with crunchy caramel tastes incredible. The Chocolate Mud Cake (BDT 200/240) was freshly baked and served with premium melted chocolate. The flavours were spot on and they were not overly sweet either. The deliciously moist and rich Brownie (BDT 80/120) is undoubtedly the perfect stuff to go with a cuppa coffee.

The creamy, comforting Cheese Cake (BDT 250) with a buttery biscuit base, served with strawberry/blueberry is intimidating. The absolute stand-out performer has to be their Chocolate Mousse Ball (BDT 500), heaven on a platter, rich chocolate and vanilla mousse wrapped in chocolate ball served in a mud cake base and caramel basket. The Crème Brule (BDT 250) is also among my top dessert picks, fluffy rich

creamy pudding with a texturally contrasting layer of caramelized sugar, baked to perfection, as is the Cheese Cake (BDT 250) and Brownie de Frappuccino (BDT 350). Brighten up your lazy days with Chocolate Frappuccino with Whipped Cream (BDT 280) or feel the chill with Strawberry Mojito (BDT 220) and Mint Mojito (BDT 200).

All the desserts and shakes are perfect in their texture. They have the correct balance of sweetness which made them almost perfect!
So if you are looking for artisanal cakes and desserts, then you should head here. Every piece of dessert sold in the cafe is handcrafted by pastry chef cum owner of Roasted Beans, Numayer Haque, which means no replication of those, can be found any where else.

Behind every piece of pastries in Roasted Beans, there are more than just flour, sugar and milk. It is the dedication and passion that differentiate the desserts here to the others. The service at Roasted Beans is decent and the servers are fairly polite. Now that I have listed all the reasons to go to this restaurant, what are you waiting for? Drop by to discover more.
