The deadline for form fill-up of this year's HSC candidates has been extended once again. As per the new schedule, students can fill up the forms from September 16 to September 22 and make their payment till September 26.

The information was given in a notification, signed by Dhaka Education Board's Controller of Examinations Prof SM Amirul Islam on Tuesday.

The notification also said if an educational institution fails to fill up the form of the students within the scheduled period, the head of the institution will be held responsible.

According to the board, the process of form fill-up started on August 12 and continued till August 25 on the first stage.

However, form fill-up activities will still be completely online and under no circumstances, students or their parents can physically go to the institution.

Moreover, there will be no pre-test this time because of Corona pandemic. So, no fee can be taken in this regard. The Board of Education has said action will be taken against any institution violating these rules. Only students with valid registration can fill up the form. If a student with unauthorised registration fills up the form, it will be cancelled.

The fee for the examination has been fixed at Tk 1,160 for the science department while students of humanities and business studies will pay Tk 1,070.

No institution can charge extra fee. If any anomaly is found in payment, legal action will be taken including closing the form fill-up process of the institution concerned.

However, if a student or guardian finds any irregularity in filling up HSC form or charging extra money, they have been asked to contact the following phone numbers in the control room of Dhaka Education Board. The numbers are: 02-9669815, 02-56110181, 02-58610248, 01610711307, 01625638508 and 01722797963.
