DCCI mourns photographer Golam Mustafa

Eminent Photographer, winner of Ekushe Padak 2018 and Shilpakala Padak 2016 Golam Mustafa died at his home on Friday (Inna Lillahe Wa Inna Ilaihe Rajiun).  He was 81. 

He left behind his beloved wife, son, daughter, two grandchildren and three sisters including many well wishers. 

Golam Mustafa has been serving as the Director of Photography in Bangladesh Television and Guest Lecturer of the Architectural Department of North South University.

 Golam Mustafa was one of the first frontline Photographers during the inception of Bangladesh Television back in 1964. BTV in its early days, started its journey with just three newly groomed photographers. Golam Mustafa was one of them to take the challenge. 

He served BTV for long 30 years and with his retirement he left behind a network well facilitated enough to accommodate 42 cameramen. He will be laid to rest at the Azimpur Graveyard (New).
