Corona virus detection rate in Jamalpur has come down to zero. The district health department has confirmed the information.
Dr Mahfuzur Rahman, Assistant Director of the 250-Bed Jamalpur General Hospital said, 32 samples had been tested in Jamalpur in 24 hours till Saturday. Of which 20 antigens were tested at RTPCR lab in Mymensingh and 6 at Jamalpur but, none of them were corona positive.
As a result, in the last 24 hours, the detection rate in Jamalpur has come down to zero. So far 38,630 samples have been tested in Jamalpur. Of these, 5,147 were identified as Corona positive while, 5,005 people have recovered.
The average detection rate is 13.28% and the recovery rate is 97.28%. 94 people have died of Corona infection in the district so far raising the death rate to 1.62%.
At present 6 people are undergoing treatments at Mymensingh Medical College Hospital, 4 at Jamalpur Covid Unit, 36 more are undergoing treatment at home isolation.
Corona identification rate has dropped to zero as nurses, health department officials and other staff worked together.
