China’s motorcycle industry posted steady growth in June, with the sales volume climbing 6.7 percent year on year, data from an industry association showed.
A total of 1.47 million motorcycles were sold in the country last month, up 4.3 percent from May, according to the China ssociation of Automobile Manufacturers, agency reports.
The motorcycle output rose 8.1 percent year on year to 1.48 million unit in June, the association said.
In the first half of 2019, motorcycle sales fell 3.5 percent from a year arlier to 7.8 million units, narrowing from the 5.6-percent decline in the first five months.
